Rental Policy

Effective Date: November 30, 2025

1. Introduction

Welcome to Mr. Wizard's Tabletop Gaming Emporium ("Mr. Wizard's TTGE", "we", "us", or "our"). This Rental Policy governs the rental of gaming equipment, facilities, and related services at our store. By renting from us, you ("Renter", "Customer", or "you") agree to comply with all terms and conditions outlined in this policy.

2. Rental Items and Services

Mr. Wizard's TTGE offers the following rental services:

  • Gaming Tables: Specialized tables designed for various tabletop gaming experiences
  • Private Rooms: Dedicated spaces for private gaming sessions and events
  • Game Kits: Complete game sets including boards, pieces, cards, and accessories
Important: All rented items remain on the premises of Mr. Wizard's TTGE at all times. No rental items may be removed from the store under any circumstances.

3. Booking Requirements

All rental bookings must include the following information:

  • Point of Contact (POC): A designated individual responsible for the rental
  • Start Date and Time: When your rental period begins
  • End Date and Time: When your rental period concludes
  • Number of Guests: Total number of participants expected

The Point of Contact must be present during the entire rental period and is the primary liaison between the rental party and Mr. Wizard's TTGE staff.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Full Refund Eligibility

Customers are eligible for a full refund if a cancellation request is submitted at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled rental start time.

No Refund Conditions

Refunds will NOT be issued for:

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the rental start time
  • No-shows or failure to arrive for a scheduled rental
  • Early departure or unused rental time
  • Customer dissatisfaction after rental has commenced

To request a cancellation, please contact us immediately via email or phone. Cancellation requests are considered submitted when confirmed by our staff.

5. Point of Contact (POC) Responsibilities

The designated Point of Contact accepts full responsibility for:

Personal Accountability

  • All activities occurring during the rental period
  • Behavior and conduct of all guests and participants
  • Compliance with all store policies and rules
  • Proper use of rented equipment and facilities

Damage and Repair Liability

The POC is financially responsible for:

  • Direct Damage: Any damage to equipment, furniture, or facilities caused by the POC
  • Guest Damage: Any damage caused by any guest, participant, or proxy invited by or associated with the POC
  • Repairs and Replacement: Full cost of repairs or replacement of damaged items
  • Cleaning Fees: Additional cleaning costs resulting from excessive mess or damage
Liability Notice: The POC agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Mr. Wizard's TTGE from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the rental period, including but not limited to damages caused by guests or proxies under the POC's reservation.

6. Use of Premises and Equipment

Prohibited Activities

Customers are strictly prohibited from:

  • Modifying, altering, or moving any tables, furniture, or fixtures without express written permission from Mr. Wizard's TTGE management
  • Removing any equipment or items from the rental space
  • Installing, attaching, or mounting any personal items to walls, tables, or structures
  • Bringing outside food or beverages without prior approval
  • Engaging in any illegal activities or behavior that disrupts other patrons
  • Smoking, vaping, or use of controlled substances on the premises

Permitted Modifications

Any desired modifications to the rental space, tables, or rooms must be requested in writing and approved by Mr. Wizard's TTGE management prior to the rental date. Unauthorized modifications may result in:

  • Immediate termination of the rental without refund
  • Additional fees for repairs or restoration
  • Forfeiture of security deposit (if applicable)
  • Permanent ban from future rentals

7. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged
  • Hourly rates apply as published on our website or in-store
  • Additional time beyond the reserved period is subject to availability and additional charges
  • A valid payment method must be on file for all rentals

8. Conduct and Behavior

All customers and guests must:

  • Treat staff, other customers, and property with respect
  • Maintain reasonable noise levels
  • Follow all posted rules and staff instructions
  • Report any damage or issues immediately to staff
  • Leave the rental space in the same condition as received

Mr. Wizard's TTGE reserves the right to terminate any rental immediately without refund for violations of conduct policies or disruptive behavior.

9. Inspection and Security Deposits

  • All rental items and spaces will be inspected before and after the rental period
  • Security deposits may be required for certain rentals
  • Deposits will be refunded within 7-14 business days after inspection confirms no damage
  • Any damages discovered will be deducted from the security deposit

10. Limitation of Liability

Mr. Wizard's TTGE is not responsible for:

  • Personal belongings left on the premises
  • Injuries sustained during the rental period
  • Conflicts or disputes between rental party members
  • Technology failures or power outages beyond our control

Customers rent equipment and facilities "as-is" and agree that Mr. Wizard's TTGE has made no warranties or representations beyond what is explicitly stated in this policy.

11. Force Majeure

Mr. Wizard's TTGE is not liable for failure to provide rental services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, fires, floods, government restrictions, pandemics, or other acts of God. In such cases, we will work with customers to reschedule or provide appropriate refunds at our discretion.

12. Policy Modifications

Mr. Wizard's TTGE reserves the right to modify this Rental Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Customers are encouraged to review this policy before each rental. Continued use of our rental services constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

14. Acknowledgment and Agreement

By completing a rental booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Rental Policy.

You confirm that you are authorized to make this agreement and accept all responsibilities outlined herein, including liability for damages caused by yourself or any guests under your reservation.
